I have been working very hard to spiff up all my lenses for the upcoming Giant Squid picks…in true clouda9 fashion I am down to the wire. Yikes!
Just had to share the latest sprucing up of my spicy lens For Couples Only: The Sexiest Games Ever. I cracked myself up wondering if lensmaster Victoria_Neely would add the Paris Duckie to her Oh Rubber Ducky lens. Ahh, the simple pleasures things in life that make us smile!

I received an e-mail yesterday from Bonnie (bdkz), the Giant Squid Organizer asking me “What inspires and motivates you to want to be a Giant Squid?” Surprisingly it did not take me that long to write my response, there are times I painstakingly pour over something to write for a lens intro or on here.
Without further ado….~drumroll~…here is my response! Front and center on the So You Want To Be A Giant Squid Blog.

This weekend was one of the best for me in a long time! Getting together with family and friends we got to surprise and then celebrate with my mom for her 75th birthday.
So much of why I am grateful for my life shined and then was reflected back to me and my family; glistening smiles, loving hugs, colorful bouquets, lilting voices, warm re-connections…the food was pretty dang good too

Does anyone else here have an interest in learning more about Wordpress and in getting their questions answered?
I am trying to set up two sites using Wordpress, the first that my girlfriend purchased already setup (My Brilliant Gifts) and the second one I am trying to build from scratch.
There are many things I don’t properly understand about Wordpress, and their forums are not easy to navigate. Many of the inquiries seem to go unresponded to, and when they are the respondant is often arrogant and rude. That type of treatment would kill off Squidoo wouldn’t it!
If you would like to swap ideas and problems, let me know. I don’t know if we can easily do it here, or via a different forum. Right now I set up a category of Wordpress for this thread. I don’t know if categories are common to all users or unique to each one (there’s a question for a start).

With the news announced today, they will both be famous for playing the role of Barnabas Collins from the infamous and camp ABC soap opera Dark Shadows (1966-1971)! Inspired to build this lens because I loved this show when I was growing up…had to sneak to watch it because my mom thought we shouldn’t be sitting in front of the ‘boob tube’ in the middle of the afternoon Get up to speed about the show before it hits the big screen by visiting my lens.
PS Tim Burton is set to direct the film, John August is writing the adaption for film.

Besides the occasional peanut butter smeared cracker, we have decided not to give our doggies table food. Just by looking at that face though, I have been tempted. If we decide to try a buffalo burger, make a decision we don’t really like it, Zoey may just end up being the happiest dog on the planet when we toss it her way. Waste not, want not!!

Please excuse me as I sift my way through blogging and when to hit delete I really wanted to share this and deleted this entry without really reading it before I hit okay. Huge lesson for me, hint for others learning the ropes to please pay attention. Thankfully I had it on BlogCatalog so that I could copy and paste the entry below. Painful, yes! Learned something, definitely!
